Damn i want a blu-ray recorder. And lighscribe looks very cool. It looks like you guys had fun at CES. 
Where are the answers for questions from forum ?

Does this also work for dvds? If not, does anyone know a good dvd ripping free software for dvds.

No Rob, PerfectRip is meant for CD formats only.

if you wanna good dvd ripping use dvd shrink, and dvd rip when combined they work great it gets almost all copyright protection off

I have an old CDROM that I need to duplicate, sector by sector. File copy is not good enough because it chooses it's own starting sector. Can PerfectRip duplicate my CDROM sector by sector?

Can this program rip to .ISO files from CD's AND DVD's to a local drive, like CD Clone? Thanks!

No, PerfectRip covers full sector image formats exclusively, like CDRWin's and CloneCD's.
