Ricoh’s RR media format:

RR media features:
- RR disc is Ricoh’s own name for Hybrid CD-R disc
- Hybrid CD-R disc incorporates a CD-ROM area and CD-R area on a single disc
- Ricoh developed its own innovative Hybrid mastering technology to realize the precise pre-groove shape in CD-R area to obtain identical recording compatibility and readability to that of a normal CD‑R
- RR disc itself can not be duplicated due to its physical format
- With security software built in CD-ROM area, RR disc can offer strong and reliable, yet simple solution to protect your important data
EncryptEase:

EncryptEase is a password protected CD-R disc with built in encryption and decryption software for high data security

- No additional software is needed, EncryptEase already includes a burning application
- Compatible with existing CD burners
- Automatically starts when the CD is inserted
- Supports English, German and French languages

Strong Encryption & Copy guard function
- Common key method is used (max. key length is 2,048 bit)
- Physical copy guard function prevents EncryptEase disc from being copied to normal CD-R disc
Double protection by setting your own password and duration.
- Create unique password from 1 to 255 (128 for French version) characters as well as user defined access dates.
