For this article we will be using two computers with the following configuration:
PC # 1 – Hardware:
- Motherboard: Asus A8V Deluxe
- Processor: AMD Athlon 64 3500+ (Venice) 1000 MHz HyperTransport
- RAM: 1 GB Corsair Kit PC3200 DDR
- GFX: ATI Radeon 9600 XT
- Sound: Onboard Realtek AC’97
- Hard disk: Seagate Barracuda ST3250823A 250 GB
PC # 2 – Hardware:

Motherboard: ASUSTeK A8N-SLI DELUXE (nForce 4 SLI chipset)

Windows XP Professional is installed on both computers along with Service Pack 2 for Windows XP. We will be using the following software:

In this 1st look article we are going to use the following Labelflash™ capable DVD-Writer:
- NEC ND-4551A

i think that technology is great but, just bought satellite notebook label flash dvd drive and 1sample disk thanks used labelflash 1 time and now dvds drive will-not read disk none nada nothing...?
Yeah, good technology - but poor quality blank media (RITEK)!
where do you buy cd's to burn? NOT DVD'S please e-mail me if you know
Never should have asked me that. I have been trying to find a disc that will work with this label flash and find out they are only available on the internet. Why put the unit in the toshiba laptop if you can't buy them in the market where you buy your laptop? And like rockstar mindi, I also would like cd's to use with the labelflash too. Very, very poor. Not good advertisement for toshiba either.
