The new Optiarc 20x DVD multi writer open up new dimensions for flexible read and write functions. This high-performance DVD/CD-burner is able to read your DVDs at a speed of 16x and CDs at 48x. It also brings fascinating dynamics into play when writing your blank disks. Now it can even write DVD-R DL two layer meida at 12x, while reaching a speed of up to 20x for DVD +R and DVD-R. DVD +R9 and DVD +RWs are processed at 8x and DVD-RWs at 6x. And DVD-RAM can be recorded with up to 12x DVD speed. So how fast can it burn my CDs, you might ask? Even here, with speeds of 48x (CD-R) and 32x (CD-RW), itÂ’s at the top of its class.
