Cheap, good but currently has bugs.

Pros:: It's quiet, it was cheap, high burn speeds and handles a lot of different media.

Cons:: Firmware SB02 has a bug that reports the wrong size of LTS track after a burn with disk images that doesn't have a LTS track size evenly dividable by 16. SH-S222A reports the LTS size as rounded to the nearest number dividable by 16.

It was not able to play the third episode of disc 2 season 9 of The Simpsons which is an error free original disc that works with my DVD-ROM reader, Xbox 360, PS2, and two standalone DVD-players (one of them being a Samsung). Could also be a firmware error, let's hope for a new version soon.

Summary:: Other than the bugs mentioned above there's absolutely no problems with this drive, I've had mine for 1,5 months.
