2.5" Polycrystalline TFT LCD Display
The DMC-FX7 features a large 2.5" LCD monitor - surprisely large for such a compact camera. This high-quality, 114,000 pixel display makes it easy to see your subject. For easier viewing when shooting outdoors on a sunny day, press the Power LCD button to boost the backlighting by about 40%.
Super-fast shutter response with Venus Engine 2
Improved multi-task image processing in the Venus Engine 2 LSI has further accelerated response speed, giving you more comfortable shooting with a shutter release time lag of about 0.008 second minimum, and the shutter interval is around 0.4 second minimum.
MEGA BURST Consecutive shooting
You can snap off consecutive shots at 3 frames per second with full resolution. (Max 7 images in standard mode/4 images in fine mode). In addition, the new Unlimited** Consecutive Shooting function lets you continue shotting until the memory card is full.
