Data security is becoming increasingly important for Flash media. This is the reason that the multimedia card standard was enhanced to become the SecureDigital memory card.
The term secure refers to two things: the technology based on the cryptography method used to protect copyrighted audio DVDs and the physical write-only switch attached externally.
The Mini-SD Memory Card was designed for using them with mobile phones, Smartphones or PDAs. It needs only half a place of a customary SD Card. However, with an adaptor the mite can be also used in any other device which has a slot for SD Memory Cards.
