Transcend unveils 250GB StoreJet 2.5 SATA portable hard drive
People that need to have a mobile storage solution basically have three main solutions: an optical media (CD/DVD), a flash memory (USB pendrive, SD, MMC, CF, etc), or an external hard drive.
Even if external HDDs are the most cumbersome solution, they are anyway the better option when it’s necessary to move big files. Moreover, in 2.5" models it’s not necessary to have an external AC/DC adapter (the drive is USB powered).
On a press release, Transcend announced its new high capacity 250GB StoreJet 2.5 SATA portable hard drive. This drive features a “OneTouch” Auto-Backup button and comes bundled with Transcend’s own StoreJet elite 2.0 software which offers intelligent backup scheduling, security, and power saving functions. Three different capacities are available (120 GB, 160 GB and 250 GB). Additionally, the StoreJet 2.5 SATA is available without a hard drive as a sleek external enclosure. The enclosure is 100% compatible with all brands of 2.5” SATA hard drives.
Transcend’s StoreJet 2.5 supports all commonly used operating systems, like Windows® 2000 / XP / Vista, Mac OS® 9.0/OS X, and Linux® Kernel 2.4.2, or later.

Wow, you sure like the word "blog". While reading your comment I couldn't help thinking, "If she says blog one more time, I'm going to nibble on the business end of my shotgun".
