Online retailer Frys.com currently lists the Samsung 850 EVO SSDs as preorder on their website. According to the store the 850 EVO SSDs should become available at November 24th this year. The 2.5" SSD that is listed has a capacity of 1TB and sells for $499, which is about $0.50 per GB.

The drive uses Samsung's TLC 3D V-NAND and connects to the computer over the SATA-3 interface. According to Frys.com the drive is able to achieve sequential read speeds of 550 MB/s and sequential write speeds of 520 MB/s.
During the preorder period it's only possible to purchase one at once.
