An outboard Infrared Remote sensor gives passengers complete handheld control of the unit regardless of mounting location. In addition to an advanced mechanical shock isolation suspension, the player features an anti-shock buffer memory to prevent interruption of playback on rough road surfaces.

Video reproduction in either 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratios is possible, for compatibility with conventional or widescreen monitors. A set of RCA A/V input connections to allow easy connection of a portable MP3 player, camcorder, or videogame console. The player’s side panel features a second set of RCA inputs for a dedicated AUX source such as a back-up camera or other device. A single 14-pin harness on the side-panel provides simplified connection of power, ground, AUX input, IR input, A/V output, and digital audio output.
