CD Freaks presents Game Jackal Pro 3 review

CD Freaks is proud to present a review of SlySoft Game Jackal Pro Version 3, its latest version just released.  Game Jackal is a product specifically designed to create CD profiles of games such that the original disc is no longer required to start the game, thus eliminating wear & tear on the original disc as well as significantly boosting the game loading time.  Our reviewer Womble has used Game Jackal since its first version nearly four years ago and has already looked at the first two versions.  This review looks at Version 3, this time from SlySoft, which bought Game Jackal early 2007.

The review is carried out on Windows XP SP2 and Windows Vista (both 32-bit).  After the introduction, the review shows the process of installation including screenshots and a program run-through showing how Game Jackal works.  To test how effective Game Jackal is on copy protected game titles, our reviewer has tried it on a range of popular copy protection systems on games all the way up to recent versions, covering 32 copy protected titles.  Finally, the reviewer asks the Game Jackal developers some questions about the operations of the program as well as future developments of Game Jackal.

Due to how well Game Jackal work has turned out in the review, our reviewer is proud to present it with the CDFreaks Editors Choice award.  To see just how well Game Jackal performs in its tests or even just to see how it works, please head over to the review here.  Feel free to comment or ask questions in this dedicated forum thread for the review or by posting a reaction in the review.
