We are pleased to announce our preview of the Pioneer BDR-101A Blu-ray writer. Special thanks go out to Pioneer Europe NV, who were kind enough to send us their first Blu-ray drive. This exciting, next generation drive supports 2x BD-R/RE, 8x DVD±R, 4x DVD+RW/-RW and 2.4x/2x DVD+R DL/DVD-R DL writing.
In this preview look, Reviewer, Moderator Dee-27 has taken the Pioneer and given us some very good insight concerning this burners blue laser features. This includes the software package, reading performance, along with Blu-ray writing performance. But, she does not stop there and makes sure we can all take a look at the BDR-101A in action reading and writing to our favorite red laser medias, including dual layer discs.
