from the Sony NEC Optiarc group. In particular, the Sony AW-G170A. The drive
is sporting some nice specs too! 18x DVD

DVD+R DL/DVD-R DL writing, makes this a fast and
versatile piece of hardware indeed.

Remember, this is only a preview. But, you will probably
notice that she will go into quite a bit of detail and can give us all
a good feel for the capabilities of this drive. It even looks like she got hold
of some Maxell 12x DVD-RAM media for testing read and write speeds with this
