GristyMcFisty used our news submit to tell us that the fifth generation of the Apple iPod is well into development. According to Think-secret the new Apple iPods will be coming in a silver aluminium casing to match Apple’s Powerbook and Powermac computer range. The new iPods will be sporting Toshiba’s newest 80 Gigabyte mini hard drives. Along with the changes to the original Apple iPod, the iPod minis will be getting a storage boost with their capacity upgraded to 5GB as well as new colour schemes that will appear in early February. Looks like the iPod will be the dominant digital music player for a good while yet.
