For those unlucky customers that bought a HD DVD player, there is a new firmware update. Version 3.0 should improve the network connectivity for supporting downloads of web-enabled network content on some HD DVD movies.
With this being the first update after the format’s withdrawal from the battle grounds, we can say Toshiba didn’t announce this update with the usual bells and celebrations. As silent as possible the Japanese giant did what they could to get al less attention as possible. With a small FAQ beneath its release, Toshiba tries to answer the question of the unlucky.
Anyone a question?
