Here you are the latest Killing machine from LG, the S1-P555K, a Core Duo PC, with a 15.1″ LCD (1680×1050), ATI X1600 (256MV of VRAM), Video Out Component, and a HD-DVD player…

As the HD DVD drive is a player, it will be interesting to see what the pricing will be like compared with Sony’s Vaio AR Premium Blu-ray laptop, which is priced
at a whopping $3,500.  Unfortunately with the vast majority of laptops now
shipping with at least a CD-RW/DVD-ROM combo, this would possibly make it one of
the first companies to start including a player only again.  On the other
hand, going by the LG’s smaller 15.1″ screen and photography, it looks to be
much sleeker and lighter than the Vaio.

I posted about the new notebook and LG's future desktop model with Blu-ray on LG forum. Samsung has also announced Blu-ray players on 15. They say they are world-first.

LG introduced a very similar model here in Korea in March under their X-Note brand without the HD-DVD.The display resolution is the same widescreen 1680x1050 but the screen is 15.4.It has a T2400 Core Duo,1gb of ram,a combo ODD,gigabit Lan,a 1yr warranty and XP Home. The price tag is about $1,900 including VAT.

Which is a lot higher than what most other competitors offered during the same period. (So I bought a Hasee for US$600 instead of US$1,900 LG.)
