Long awaited XviD version 1.10 final has been released

long awaited 1.1.0. is out, here is what they have to say at the href="http://www.xvid.org/" target=_new>XviD.org site: “It is mostly API
compatible with the previous stable release as we dropped support for reduced
resolution coding. If your application didn’t use that feature then the upgrade
is totally compatible.”

If you want to try and compile this yourself, you can go to cygwin.com and install the latest version of cygwin gcc (follow instructions on the site), go to xvid.org and download the sources, and run the configure scripts and then 'make'... :B

I've compiled an earlier release before, but my system's a bit unstable at the moment, so don't want to push the computer ofer the edge before I get time to back it up BTW thanks for the links, should have known to go to koepi's site
