In two months from now MSI will introduce their newest notebook which weighs only one kilogram and is called the MSI Wind Notebook. The company believes that this light-weight notebook meets the ‘demand of modern people’, and is ‘ideal for outdoor use’. Besides its extremely low weight the company promises that the Wind Notebook offers you a longer battery life, due to its embedded power-saving backlight technology.
A 8.9" or 10" wide LCD display should deliver better colour because of the backlight technology. Secondly the company states that their 1024×600 resolution should deliver ‘full display of webpages while browsing’ and the ergonomic keyboard is not different from the company’s larger models. MSI has increased the space between the keys and gave the keys some texture.
MSI’s Wind Notebook is equipped with a 2.5-inch standard 80-GB hard drive. So despite the notebook’s size, you don’t have to worry about the capacity.
