According to a news published at Tech-On, JVC will launch the GZ-HD6 HDD camcorder in mid-February 2008, a new model of the Everio series featuring 1080p HDTV video output.

As storage device, the GZ-HD6 has a 120-Gbyte HDD, enough to store many hours of High Definition video (the exact amount of course is variable based on the maximum video resolution).

Also a "little brother" will be available, the GZ-HD5, featuring a smaller storage device, a 60-Gbyte HDD. No information is yet available about prices.
