Review added: Primera Composer Pro

Today we have added a review of something that is the dream of every CD Freak, the Primera Composer Pro. This duplication station connects to your computer and is able to make a lot of copies without you changing the discs.

By using a robotic arm the Composer Pro picks the source and destination discs and if you want it’s even able to print on it’s surface, so you will have a perfect duplication. Here is a part of the review.

Stream mode:

The stream mode might be one of the most important features for many companies. This mode combines handfree production with flexibility.

In other words: batch mode processing. These words may now all “fuzz” in your head, and you probably wonder how deep this review really gets… (we are still human, not ? hehe) Well don’t worry, we’ll explain it nice and simple…

  • You come in the office, you’re darn boss wants you to duplicate 100 CDR’s. Well, he picked the right time… you’re dying for a nice cup of coffee and you want to read the newspaper. On top of this he gives you an extra.
  • He doesn’t only want 100 copies, but he wants 10 copies of 10 masters making it virtually impossible for you to fullfill your own wishes (the paper and coffee)
  • This is what batch processing is all about. The Primera Composer lets you do this whole job unattended. That means reading the paper, drinking coffee and making money… (that is what I usually do, though…)

  • The drives in te Primera Composter Pro are SCSI, why Primera choose to use SCSI drives and how well the Primera Composer Pro performs and what it’s features are, can be read here.

The review is done by StevieB who is actually working for a company that does professional duplications.
