WesleyTech.com today reports that it seems that Samsung has canceled all plans to release their high end Blu-ray Disc player, the BDP-2400. There is no offical statement from Samsung until now but due the fact that the dual format HD-DVD and Blu-ray Disc player BD-UP5000 also has been delayed til December this year (which means that it will be at least a 1.1 spec unit), it is assumed that Samsung couldn’t meet the 31st October deadline for the BD 1.0 specs.
