Winamp 5.02 is out with basic MP4 and AAC encoding decoding

This thing is getting better and better. The changelog is extensive. If you have the time, check out the ZDL ANALOG skin, it looks like an old fashioned reel to reel recorder and it makes good use of animation. Or if you press a button it changes to cassette view. Now if I could just find the button that changes it back to reel to reel view....

You can find a download for this great player here . For those that don't know, you can download music from the site as well. Low bitrate at 95 kbps WMA but good enough for the price - free, only very limited offerings so far. Once downloaded, a page pops up informing you that the music is licensed on the computer it was downloaded to for a specified number of days. Linkin' Park was 30 days and Snow Patrol was 60 days. Oddly, three of the top random tracks listed on the main page I downloaded and they said the trial period was up, so there are some bugs to work out yet.
