Recently we reported that AC Ryan Europe, located in Rotterdam the Netherlands, was declared bankrupt. Many AC Ryan customers feared that the entire company would go bankrupt due to it, but this doesn’t seem to the be case. Consumers feared to lose their warranty and that development of the AC Ryan product would be stopped so they would not get any future firmware updates.
In a forum post on a Singapore based hardware forum someone replied with the official AC Ryan account where they state that the bankruptcy of AC Ryan Europe has no effect on AC Ryan Asia Pacific (located in Signapore) and that for them it’s business as usual. According to AC Ryan Asia Pacific, also firmware updates will continue to be developed.
