AMD's high-end and expensive Fury X video cards suffer from high pitched noise

AMD Fury X video cards suffer from a high pitched noise. The noise was already discovered by many reviewers but AMD claimed only review samples would suffer from it. PC Perspective tested two Fury X cards bought in a store and noticed that the same noise of the Cooler Master water-cooler pump was also present on these cards. The retail cards also make more noise than the review samples, but PC Perspective suspects that's just a coincidence.

The high noise was already discovered by many media that noticed how the card hummed and generated a high pitched noise. Most assumed it was caused by a manufacturing flaw and that regular retail cards would not be affected.

AMD also sent out a statement that retail cards would not suffer from the noise because the cooler supplier was allegedly working on a solution.

It's unknown whether there is a limited number of Fury X cards that suffer from the issue or that all cards are affected. AMD has not (yet) responded to the findings of PC Perspective. Meanwhile some people report to have received a card with a different cooler. It's like AMD will replace all squeaky cards in the near time.
