The Intel CPU is a quad-core Ivy Bridge but it's unknown which exact model it will be. Besides a build-in video card the Ultrabook  has a GeForece GT 650M video card on board which sends its signal to a matte 15 inch IPS  panel with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. The U500VZ can be configured to have two SSDs (2x 128GB) but also the combination of a SSD (128 GB) and HDD (500GB) are possible. Asus claims that the Zenbook will have a long battery life but has no specification on the actual duration.

Also no pricing and availability was announced.
