Corsair Force LS drives appear at online retailers

While there's no official announcement, new Corsair Force SSDs have appeared on websites of several online retailers.  The drives in a 2.5" form-factor go by the name Force LS and are available in capacities of 60 GB, 120 GB and 240 GB. The controller is combined with toggle NAND from Toshiba and together they should be able to achieve specified sequential write speeds of up to 535 MB/s and sequential read speeds of 560 MB/s.

The Force LS drives have a height of 7 mm making them suitable for use in laptops. Usual feature like SMART monitoring, TRIM and internal garbage collection are available.

Corsair drives can be used with Corsair Toolbox that allows you to easily update the drive's software, read out the SMART status and has an option to schedule TRIM commands to optimize the drive. The 60 GB retails at $69.99, the 120 GB at $109.99 and the 240 GB drive at $199.99.
