Dane-Elec, a global maker and distributor of memory and storage products has launched its 1.8″ mySSD O-Series, featuring high durability and reliability designed specifically for the commercial market, including laptop/tablet/server products and embedded computers. They claim this series to be ideal for mission-critical applications including military and outdoor use, where failure risk is not an option.
The Series features SMART enterprise-level data monitoring, advanced wear levelling, two embedded encryption engines and a high performance SiliconMotion SM2244 SSD SATA2 controller. The SSD range is capable of delivering up to 285MB/s read and 275MB/s write, with random access performance of up to 50k IOPS.
The Dane-Elec mySSD O-Series is now available directly from Dane-Elec in a capacity choice of 64GB, 120GB and 240GB and are backed by a 5-year warranty.
