DVD-Ranger informed us today about the release of four database files for their CinEx Cinavia removal module. The databases can be used to remove the Cinavia copy-protection from Blu-ray movies. According to DVD-Ranger the databases contain a first pass of the Cinavia removal process, decreasing the processing time for end users.
This time they've added the following databases:
- About Last Night , US, English track only
- The Monuments Men, US, English track only
- That Awkward Moment, US, Spanish track only
- Pompeii , US, English track only
To try out the software, the developers also made the databases of 'Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2', '21 Jump Street', 'The Amazing Spider-Man', 'Bad Country' available for everyone to try.
DVD-Ranger combined with the CinEx HD module is currently the only software able to actually remove the Cinavia audio-watermark from Blu-ray movies. This means that Blu-ray discs copied with the software can be played on any Blu-ray player. More information and downloads can be found here.
