DVD-Ranger today released version 6.1.1.4 which includes improvements to Cinavia of torrent files. The software is now able to remove the audio watermark based Blu-ray copy protection Cinavia from downloaded AVI, MKV, MP4, MOV files downloaded from torrent sites.
Currently the Piratebay lists about 50 movies stating 'Cinavia' free, of which some are Blu-ray movies using DVD audio tracks. The new DVD-Ranger update makes it easier for release groups to provide Cinavia free movies to illegal movie downloaders. Also downloaders of movies protected with Cinavia can now easily remove the audio watermark from the movie soundtrack.
DVD-Ranger version 6.1.1.4 has the following changelog:
- New CinEx Torrent: Remove Cinavia from Torrent downloaded video files like avi, mkv, mp4 and other. The new CinEx Torrent will pass through the video content and only remove Cinavia from the selected audio track. Subtitles and other tracks keep alive.
- Updated internal links to new www.cinexhd.com URL.
- Fixed CinEx HD reported issues.

Besides the DVD-Ranger update, also eight new databases have been added. The added databases are Company of Heroes ,Detention, I’m So Excited!, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, Looper, Starship Troopers: Invasion, The Raid: Redemption and The Karate Kid.
