While the company suffered from legal issues, DVDFab continues development of their movie copy software. Version 9.1.3.8 was released today and it deals with new copy protections found on the DVD version of the movies 'Fifth Estate' and 'Ender's Game'. Also a new feature for the Blu-ray ripper was released.
Besides removal of copy protections the software also includes many other features that allow conversion of video files and burning to disc.

- Fix: A freeze problem at splash screen when running DVDFab in certain cases.
- Fix: A problem that cannot detect IQS GPU after updating the driver of Intel(R) HD Graphics Card to 10.18.10.3496.
- Fix: An A/V sync problem when converting Blu-ray with m2ts.passthrough profile in certain cases.
- Fix: A problem that the file title does not match with file name in Converter.
- Fix: A crash problem when closing DVDFab after conversion is done in Blu-ray Creator.
- Fix: A problem that the DVD video created by DVD Creator will play with no audio by default in PowerDVD.
- Fix: A problem when running command line in certain cases.
- Fix: Some minor changes and improvements.
Note that the DVDFab.com domain name is no longer in use. The company has switched to a Chinese (.cn) domain name and a new (Chinese) payment processor due to legal issues with the AACS-LA. The AACS-LA is the organisation that licenses the copy protection found on Blu-ray discs. They are allegedly not happy with the fact that DVDFab circumvents their copy protection in order to allow you to make personal backups.
