DVDFab only available to customers outside the United States

DVDFab informed us that the company currently only sells to customers outside the United States. The move comes after the company is being chased by Blu-ray copy protection licensee AACS-LA. The organisation got an injunction from an U.S. court which allows them to send orders to companies providing services to DVDFab.

Using the court order they can demand companies likes domain registrars, social media websites, banks and payment processors to cease providing services to DVDFab. So far the damage done is the seizure of the DVDFab.com domain name, the removal of the DVDFab Facebook page and apparently payment processor Avangate has ceased to handle payments for DVDFab.

DVDFab since then moved to a Chinese domain name and yesterday we reported the company has switched to the Chinese payment provider Alipay.

With the change of payment processor also comes another change, the company will only sell to customers outside U.S. territories. Visitors from the U.S. are alerted that DVDFab products are no longer available to them due to '"corresponding local laws and regulations". When trying to purchase the software, the United States is also no longer an option to pick from the payer details.
