DVDFab, best known from their movie backup software, has added a PC Backup application to their product line. The software can also be used to clone a disk to e.g. migrate to a SSD. The backup software of the Chinese company supports several ways of backing up data such as full, differential, incremental backup and scheduled backups.
The Windows based software is able to backup music, documents, video, applications and all kinds of other files but also Outlook mails, disk partition and the entire Windows installation. The backups can be stored on a(n) (external) HDD, NAS, CD or DVD or send to an FTP server
DVDFab PC Backup also makes it possible to create a bootable WINPE (Windows Preinstallation Environment) backup, which makes it possible to restore the system even when the original operating system no longer boots.
Backups can be restored file by file and browsed using Windows Explorer.
The software is currently $42 (regular price $60) and can be downloaded (93.6MB) from the DVDFab website.
