Seeing as living in the van, see last contest, caused horrible frostbite to both my hands and feet I am unable to click anything for this contest. I can barely type with my p.nis as it is, so maybe someone who seems to care about the less fortunate could come click for me.
p.s. also I need the speakers as I have lost most of my hearing as a result of listening to all the BS

I did, a developer of another forum that actually keeps track of members, who contribute, told me that the management here can not read english and therefore do not know what the word "contest" means...

Please allow me to explain how the winner for this contest was drawn. Our developers ran a query on the list of people who added one (or more) of the four iPods to their have/want list. This query picked one single userid at random.


I don't want to start an in depth discussion on who won, but this is not true. Maybe you didn't notice, but Philrz28 's profile does actually contain an Apple iPod Touch (added January 7). However, we do appreciate your input - so maybe it is a good idea to have a poll for future contest on who is to be the winner?

Since I still use CDFreaks V 2.0, because of some of the navigation bugs, it does not show in the user profiles, however using myce beta it does, I guess it must be another bug.

LOL!!! Hey guys thanks for the congrats and sorry for the delay. And no one was more surprised then me to win. But to set the record straight I do own an iPod Touch and have for quite some time. It is one of the most useful gifts I have ever received. (Don't dwell on that too much.) AND since I know you guys want to know... I did receive the Travelspeaker. Yep, sure did. Looked great but you'll find it amusing to know it has two problems. First off, the unit delivers barely audible sound with the unit and iPod turned wide open. Absolutely ridiculous. Secondly, and here's the big one folks. See I live in the U-N-I-T-E-D S-T-A-T-E-S. Well, the kind folks in charge failed to catch that and sent me the European version. This means the adapter for the wall is useless. Which in turn means that one of the main functions of the Travelspeaker, recharging the iPod, is not possible. Aw, well... So I got a Travelspeaker that won't charge my iPod and that you can't really hear any music out of anyway. (Did I mention none of the Search and Skip buttons will work either?) I wonder if even Woot.com has ever tried selling these?? So anyway don't be too jealous. I got a paperweight.

Ok people! I will have to eat a little crow on the Travelspeaker. Everything I said was true except about the sound level and control buttons. Appears since I had my iPod in a case it wasn't quite going all the way down and making full contact with the input jack. The sound is actually pretty decent and the controls work on most screens. My bad! Still need the adapter since you can't really charge the iPod from batteries. You're welcome for the update.
