Transcend 256GB & 32GB SSD Review
Next up in this series, Seán who takes on two Transcend SSDs. Transcend gave MyCE a lend of two SSDs for review with some impressive read/write ratings of up to 240MB/s and 200MB/s respectively. This review takes a look at how the SSDs perform in real world conditions against two HDDs (2.5" & 3.5") and a popular rival SSD.

In this review, Seán first does some standard benchmarks and shows IOMeter test results of both Transcend SSDs. However, synthetic tests can only be used as a rough guide to how these SSDs will perform in real life use. No amount of testing on a car will reveal how it will feel like and handle on the road and the same goes with an SSD. That's why Seán puts a lot of focus on real world testing for these two Transcend SSDs.
