A firmware update that already became available for Crucial m4 SATA drives is now also available for Crucial Adrenaline and m4 mSATA drives. The update for the m4 mSATA drive has version number 04MH, the update for the Adrenaline drives is called 040H.
The update reduces the boot time after an unexpected power loss, fixes a minor issues with the SMART Drive Self Test execution, improves the wear leveling algorithm and last but not least, Crucial has added a streamlined firmware command for smoother operation in Windows 8.
