Haswell details leaked online

Earlier this year many global media sources had indicated that Intel's new generation processors, codenamed Haswell, would be launched in early 2013.

It was widely reported that the Haswell architecture would be launched in spring of 2013 most likely April 2013 however the Chinese version of VR-Zone states it has received several indications from OEM and ODM factories that the release date for Haswell processors has been pushed back.

Intel has now apparently determined that it's 'Product Introduction Date' will be at some stage between May 27th and June 7th which, as VR-Zone highlight, coincides with the Computex Taipei 2013 Computer Exhibition. Although Intel has already committed to being at the show, with several of their top executives being present, it's not clear if the company intend on using this event as a launch pad for Haswell.

As can be seen the 2nd of June has now been put forward as the earliest date for first availability of the actual hardware to end users.

VR-Zone has also revealed specifications for the 14 chips currently scheduled for release as detailed in the screen dump below.
