Yesterday we reported that the judge in the case of the extradition of Kim Dotcom, David Harvey had said "“We have met the enemy, and he is the US". Today we can report that the judge has resigned. The quote of the judge was a reference to a comic from American cartoonist Walt Kelly and was said during during an debate on copyright laws on the internet conference NetHui held in New Zealand this weekend. The judge admitted after the conference that this remark could reflect on his impartiality.
The lawsuit for the extradition of Kim Dotcom and his affiliates has already been postponed till March 2013 and the case will now be heard by Judge Nevin Dawson. This new judge is not new to Kim Dotcom, thanks to him he came free on bail.
