Judge in MegaUpload case replaced due ‘US is the enemy’ remarks

Yesterday we reported that the judge in the case of the extradition of Kim Dotcom, David Harvey had said ““We have met the enemy, and he is the US”. Today we can report that the judge has resigned. The quote of the judge was a reference to a comic from American cartoonist Walt Kelly and was said during during an debate on copyright laws on the internet conference NetHui held in New Zealand this weekend. The judge admitted after the conference that this remark could reflect on his impartiality.

The lawsuit for the extradition of Kim Dotcom and his affiliates has already been postponed till March 2013 and the case will  now be heard by Judge Nevin Dawson. This new judge is not new to Kim Dotcom, thanks to him he came free on bail.

I smell a inside job and sounds more like NZ government has been replaced with MPAA/RIAA/DODD government. Sounds like the NZ has no backbone and can't even stand up to a US bully...This is how the NAZI started...take down those whom stands up against you.....

You can find a lot of information made to the general global public and the respective voters here on subjects including cybersecurity, BYOD, healthcare IT, net neutrality, and so on. The US Senate and House of Representatives are obviously composed of conflicting opinions and interests shifting on a continuous basis. Some president is against some Democratic House Representatives that are against FCC chairman Julian Genachowski who is against AT&T and Verizon, and that's not all. But the more important aspect is the larger, deeper changes that are taking place rather than conflicts of interest and fights over budgets and control.
