Hardware manufacturer Kingmax has released an USB flash drive that is, according to Kingmax, the 'most revealing flash drive in the world'. Reason for the claim is a glass window that shows the bare flesh flash memory chip. Normally the chip in an USB drive is hidden in a plastic case. Still if you would remove the case you would only see a PCB as it's common to cover the memory chip in resin. With the Kingmax UI-05 this is no longer the case as it shows the chip in full glory, which is according to Kingmax a piece of ingenious engineering.
The drive is available in capacities of 8, 16 and 32 GB and comes in a metal housing. It has a blue LED indicator light and is water and dust proof. The stick uses the USB 2.0 interface and comes with a warranty of 5 years.
