Lexar has announced an improved version of its Professional USB 3.0 Dual-Slot SD/CF reader. This new variant features the new faster UDMA7 CompactFlash mode, allowing the reader to deliver transfer rates of up to 167MB/s. Lexar recently launched its Professional 1000X series CompactFlash series featuring the UDMA7 mode.
The reader is also compatible with SDXC, SDHC and SD cards and supports the SD UHS-I standard, allowing up to 104MB/s transfer performance with UHS-I capable cards. The reader includes an USB 3.0 SuperSpeed interface, measures 69.9 x 63.5 x 24.4 mm and weighs 69g (2.4oz.)
