LulzSec makes a return, attacking The Sun news website

It looks like LulzSec's retirement was short lived.  The hacking group returned with quite a bang today by pulling some shenanigans on Murdoch-owned "The Sun".  The site was redirected to a fake story about Murdoch's death on the UK Times site.

It seems like the fake story about Murdoch was set up to imitate another story that was posted on The Sun.  The fake story was removed from the UK Times site fairly quickly.  After the story was pulled, The Sun website started redirecting to LulzSec's Twitter account.

LulzSec was fairly quick to take credit for the hack with a few tweets and they didn't hesitate to promise more action in the coming days.  It's looks like they are officially coming off the bench and rejoining the hacking party.

"We have owned Sun/News of the World – that story is simply phase 1 – expect the lulz to flow in coming days."

“The Sun’s homepage now redirects to the Murdoch death story on the recently-owned New Times website. Can you spell success, gentlemen?”

It actually gets even better.  LulzSec is promising that their hack of The Sun goes deeper than just a fake news story and a redirect.  "Don't be a #peon like the others. We are showing you a very small surface; the real damage is currently giving the admins heart attacks. ;)"

Anonymous also tweeted the attack presumably to show their support of LulzSec and the AntiSec movement the two groups started together. "We have joy we have fun we will mess up Murdoch's Sun:http://t.co/JArvwg1 | Hi Rupert! Have fun tomorrow at the Parliament! #AntiSec."

With LulzSec back in action and Anonymous on a recent tear it's very likely more hacking drama is to be expected in the next few days and it seems like Murdoch may be the target of the hour.
