The MX-DIY  drives are fully compliant with AHCI and therefore require no drivers. According to Mach Xtreme the drives also require no SATA signal cable which should reduce latency and improving data signal stability.

The company specifies read speeds of up to  220MB/s and write speeds of up to 80MB/s. According to Mach Xtreme the drives have a durability of 2.5 million MTBF and consume up to 1.2W. The DIY series SSDs are available in capacities of 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB and all come with a 2 year warranty.
