Microsoft OneDrive now has unlimited storage for Office 365 subscribers

Microsoft has lifted the storage limits on OneDrive and OneDrive for Business for Office 365 subscribers. The company now offers unlimited storage at no additional cost. Previously Office 365 subscribers received up to 1 TB of OneDrive storage depending on the plan.

The unlimited storage has become available today to the first Office 365 Home, Personal, and University customers. The roll out will continue over the coming months, but Microsoft offers a way  to put yourself at the front of the line by going to this page. In return for being in front of the line, you are agreeing to receive promotional offers for OneDrive.

In the meantime, you can take advantage of the unlimited storage  you have today by activating the auto upload feature for your camera roll on your phone.

For OneDrive for Business customers, unlimited storage will be listed on the Office 365 roadmap in the coming days and Microsoft will begin updating the First Release customers in 2015, aligned with the promise to provide ample notification for significant service changes.
