Microsoft releases disappointing Windows 10 Insiders Preview build 10532

Microsoft today released Windows 10 build 10532 to Windows Insiders in the 'Fast Ring'. The build is rather disappointing with only 2 new features. The build is released only 9 days after build 10525 and adds improved context menus and the ability to share feedback, you provide to Microsoft, with others.

Gabe Aul, Microsoft's Windows Insider evangelist, posted on the Microsoft blog about the improved context menus,  "we've heard feedback about the consistency of menus within Windows 10, so we've made some changes to improve these and give them a modern look at and feel."

Despite the fact that the current changes to the context menu are already part of the build, Microsoft isn't finished yet, as Aul continues to write, "We are still working on it, but you’ll see some good changes with this build. We're also further unifying the light and dark theming across the OS and are looking forward to you trying these latest changes and providing additional feedback."

The other change in this build is ability to share feedback with others. The idea is that if you are able to share the feedback you provide to Microsoft on e.g. social media, others can easily upvote your feedback. If feedback has more upvotes it's more likely Microsoft developers will start working on it.

Users hoping the build will fix their issues with the 64-bit version of Google's Chrome browser will also be dissapointed, the issue hasn't been fixed yet. Google is working on a fix, according to Microsoft. That fix already made it to canary builds of Chrome.

Besides the two new features, the build squashes a range of bugs.

Windows Insiders were also hoping that Microsoft would release a new mobile build of Windows 10 today. According to Aul there is currently a showstopper that needs to be fixed, before also mobile users will receive a fresh build.
