Microsoft's cloud storage service Skydrive will be rebranded as OneDrive. The software giant will officially announce this next Wednesday with a video. The company had to change the name from Skydrive to OneDrive because it lost a lawsuit from the British Sky Broadcasting Group (BskyB). This company owns the right to 'Sky' names.

The cloud storage service from Microsoft is now called OneDrive and with that name Microsoft wants to emphasize that it's a single place for documents and pictures. "For current users of Skydrive and Skydrive Pro there will be no changes", according to Microsoft.
