Microsoft Windows 7 Family Pack ends on December 31st

Interested customers only have a couple of days left to purchase the Microsoft Windows 7 Family Pack before its pulled from store shelves. The promotion started on Oct. 3 in the United States and on Oct. 22 for international consumers.

This is an extremely good way to get multiple licenses for a lower price, so there isn't much time to waste if you need a few Windows 7 licenses.

The following statement can be found on Amazon: "This product is available for a limited time and will be available to purchase until December 31, or while supplies last."

The software suite previously was available for $149.99, but can now be purchased online from Amazon for $124.99. The price of the Windows 7 Family Pack is less than $200 the cost of purchasing three Windows 7 Home Premium licenses individually.

Microsoft learned from its mistake last holiday season and decided to keep the Windows 7 Family Pack on sale past Christmas. The sale stopped in early December last year, and was only available for six weeks before being pulled.

Microsoft uses its bundle sales as a method to generate sales for its latest operating system, with Windows 7 sales now gobbling up XP and Vista market-share.
