Based upon a page on the SandForce website, it seems that MSI will also enter the SSD market. SandForce develops the controller chips inside SSD drives and has a list of companies that use their controller on their website. Included in the huge list is an entry for MSI, with behind it: 'SF2000' and 'coming soon'. This pretty much gives away that MSI is developing its own SSD drives using the SandForce SF2000 controller.

This means MSI joins a highly competive market altough it's unsure if the MSI SSD drives will become available in retail. As MSI also has a laptop line and is still using SSD drives of other brands, it is likely that the drives will be manufactured by another vendor and will only become available in MSI laptops.
