NO-Captcha is Google's solution to end Captcha annoyance

Google will soon introduce a new way of fighting online spammers called No-Captcha which no longer requires entering text to proof you're not a spam bot. Google currently fights spam bots with Re-captcha, a free service for webmasters which requires users to enter (distorted) text shown in an image.

Besides fighting spam, Google also used the  Re-Captcha service to display text of books it scanned for Google Books. By solving the Captcha users also helped in improving the optical character recognition software. Currently the service mainly shows numbers of houses which is used for improving house number detection in Google Maps.

On the Recaptcha website the company now states, "Life's too short to spend solving distorted text. Coming soon, the' No-CAPTCHA' reCAPTCHA". Although No-Captcha has not been officially released, the above image shows how it looks like. With Javascript disabled it's still required to enter numbers from an image which makes us believe that Google is doing some Javascript to determine whether you're a spam bot or not.

If No-Captcha suspects you're a spam bot it will also show you an image. Besides Javascript, the company can possible also use other data like your IP address and past behaviour.
