Owners complain iPad Pro doesn't turn on anymore after charging

Owners of Apple's iPad Pro complain that their tablet doesn't turn on anymore after charging. The issues are bad timing for Apple as it markets the tablet as a true PC killer. It appears the problems mainly occur after the device has been charged for a long time.

On Apple's support forum dozens of users complain that their tablet doesn't turn on anymore after it has charged over night. Fortunately for iPad Pro owners there is a way to get it back working, by doing a hard reset (holding power + home button) it turns on again. An upgrade to the beta of iOS 9.2 can even solve the problem entirely.

Other users report they went back to the store and receive a new device but so far Apple hasn't provided an official fix.

CNet reports that the iPad Pro is also hit by production issues, display manufacturer Sharp can't keep up with demand (Samsung will reportedly save the day and become an additional supplier) and the production of the iPad Pro's stylus, the Pencil is not "going as smooth as planned".
