Several products of Panda, including Panda Antivirus Pro 2015 and Panda Cloud Protection, suffer from the issue. Affected users can continue to use their computer but should not restart it, according to the company. Users that update later today, should not be affected by the issue.

Although Panda doesn't disclose much information about the issue, several users on the internet report that the antivirus software not only marks itself as suspicious, but also many .EXE and .DLL files from the "system32" folder, which are also quarantined.

Panda advises users to leave their PC on till the company has released a fixed, after which restarting the computer shouldn't be an issue anymore. The antivirus company released a statement earlier today after consumers and companies noticed the latest signature update caused issues.
