Samsung today announced a new Micro SD memory card that has a capacity of 256GB. The card, named Evo Plus 256 GB, should allow users to store up to 12 hours of 4K video or 33 hours of full HD recordings.
The card is made up of Samsung's V-NAND flash memory. With read speeds of 95MB/s and 90 MB/s, the card adheres to the UHS-1, Class 10 U3 speed class.
Samsung's 256GB Evo Plus Micro SD card will become available next month with a MSRP of $249.99. or about $1 per GB. For that price you also get a 10 year warranty.
